| Where do you go when you get tired of keeping score? For an ex-Special Forces solider, that answer isn't always clear. After retiring from the United States Army's elite 'Delta Force', Benton finds himself looking for that very answer. Unsure of where to go, or what to do, he eventually finds himself working on the 'other side' of the front line. Instead of doing the fighting, he's picking up the pieces after the dust settles. Sometimes, it hasn't been settled for very long. |

| Carl Benton is from 24: Redemption, and is set pre-canon. Currently, he is in south Africa, assisting various relief organizations in the (fictional) country of Sangala as an aid worker. Information on Delta Force: Delta Force's primary tasks are counterterrorism, counterinsurgency and national intervention operations, although it is an extremely versatile group capable of assuming many covert missions, including, but not limited to, rescuing hostages, raids, and eliminating covert enemy forces. Carl is trained in a variety of military and special forces skills, some of which include: expert marksmanship, intelligence gathering and reconnaissance, linguistics, vehicle and aircraft operation, infiltration and extraction, HAHO/HALO parachute insertion, hand-to-hand combat, SCUBA, and a variety of unknown/classified skills. He is a very smart man who is very good at blending in with a crowd. He also served with Jack Bauer during his time with Delta Force. Since in both Mixed Muses and Milliways canon, Jack has not yet reached 24: Redemption, Carl will be staying pre-canon until a later time. Please do not canon-puncture (tell him he's fictional/from the TV show 24) him. SPECIAL NOTE: In Milliways, he is from even earlier - between Day 4 and Day 5 - still a member of Delta Force and serving in the US Army. |

| Physical description: Human by all appearances, he stands at 5'8" tall, with short brown hair and brown eyes, slightly-tan skin, and he speaks with a hint of a Scottish accent. He is fluent in several languages and if he's speaking anything other than English it will be noted in the tag. He is non-magical and very much alive.
